Privacy Policy

Effective: October 13, 2026

SwipeIQ is operated by Timo Akkila, Netherlands. This policy explains how SwipeIQ processes personal data.

Summary

Your uploaded and generated photos and questionnaire answers are private. Other users cannot access them. We use them to provide the profile planning and generation features you request. SwipeIQ does not sell this data, use it for its own model training, or publish it as examples without your permission.

Data we process

  • Face and optional body photos you upload as likeness references, and custom composition references.
  • Your questionnaire answers, including age, city, goals, preferences, interests, optional free text and the profile plan created from those answers.
  • AI-generated photos, selected scenes and your quality feedback.
  • Your verified email address, a private account ID, sign-in sessions and installation identifiers.
  • Purchase, entitlement, credit-ledger and replacement-allowance records.
  • Diagnostics, security events and support messages.

Why we process it

We process data to generate and deliver photos, maintain private accounts and credits, complete and restore purchases, prevent abuse, provide support, understand product performance, comply with law, and protect the service. Depending on the activity and your location, the legal basis is performance of our contract, consent, legitimate interests, or legal obligation.

Photos, answers and AI providers

With your explicit permission, your answers and selected face, optional body and scene images are transmitted through Cloudflare to Google’s Gemini API. Gemini uses them to plan your photo lineup, choose which of your assigned reference angles to use, write generation instructions, generate photos and check image quality and likeness. Generated images may also be sent to Gemini for these checks. SwipeIQ stores these records and images privately in Cloudflare storage. Your onboarding draft and selected files initially stay in your browser. After you sign in and expressly allow AI processing, your setup and reference photos are uploaded to your private account. Photos and answers are not sent to Gemini until you request profile planning or photo generation with that permission in place. You can stop further AI processing from your web workspace → Account → Stop AI processing (or Settings → Privacy & data in the iOS app). New planning, generation and quality-check requests are then blocked until you explicitly allow processing again. A request already sent to the provider may finish. Saved results remain available, and you can request account and stored-data deletion in the app or contact us.

Web storage and sign-in

We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in, local storage for your questionnaire draft and preferences, and browser IndexedDB for reference photos you select. These are necessary for the service. Sign out or use Start over to clear the saved local setup. No advertising pixels or advertising cookies are installed by SwipeIQ. Stripe may use its own fraud-prevention technology during checkout. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; expired code records are removed within approximately one day.

Photo and microphone permissions

Apple’s photo picker gives SwipeIQ access only to the photos you select. Saving results requests permission to add photos to your library. Microphone access is optional and requested only when you record a voice answer. Supported iPhones transcribe recordings on-device using Apple’s speech model; audio is not uploaded and the temporary recording is removed after transcription or cancellation. Text you choose to add becomes a questionnaire answer and is processed as described above.

Service providers

SwipeIQ uses Cloudflare for application hosting, private storage, and databases; Google Gemini for image generation and analysis; Stripe for web checkout, fraud prevention and payment records; Resend for sign-in codes and photo-ready emails; RevenueCat and Apple for iOS purchases and entitlements; PostHog may receive limited operational events from the backend. AppsFlyer, advertising attribution, cross-app tracking and advertising identifiers are not enabled in this release. Photos and questionnaire answers are not sent to Stripe, Resend, RevenueCat or PostHog. Stripe receives billing details entered at checkout; SwipeIQ does not store your full card number. Resend receives your email address and the sign-in or delivery message. We require our processors to protect the data they handle under their applicable data-processing terms. Google’s paid Gemini API terms state that prompts and responses are not used to improve its products; Google may retain them temporarily for safety, abuse prevention and legal requirements. These provider records follow the provider’s retention rules. See Google’s Gemini API terms.

Retention

Source photos are scheduled for deletion within seven days of upload. Generated images remain available until you delete your account or request deletion. Operational logs and support records are retained only as reasonably needed. Purchase records may be retained longer when required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing already lawfully completed. You can request account deletion from your web workspace → Account → Delete account and photos, or inside the iOS app. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

International processing

Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards are used. Data is encrypted in transit, storage is private, and access is limited to operating the service.

Age and uploaded content

SwipeIQ is for adults aged 18 or older. Upload only images you own or are authorized to use. Only upload your own likeness to create your profile. Impersonation is prohibited.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective date. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to milomitm@gmail.com.
